Terms of use

Last updated 1 November 2026

These terms cover your use of the Marmalade website. Marmalade is a game by Ryan Wiggill ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.

About this site

Marmalade is in development. The site describes the game as it stands now, and features, screenshots and plans can change. Nothing here is a promise of a feature, a price or a release date.

Our material

The game, its name and logo, and the text, images, screenshots, video, 3D models and music on this site belong to Ryan Wiggill or are used under licence, unless this page says otherwise. You may look at the site and share its links. Please don't copy, republish or sell our material without asking first. To ask, use the contact form.

Credits and licences

Some of what you see is made by others and shared under open licences. We're grateful to them:

What you send us

When you send a bug report, feedback or an idea, you keep ownership of it, but you allow us to use it to improve the game, without payment or credit and without any obligation to act on it. Please don't send anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share. How we handle your details is in the privacy policy.

Using the site properly

Please don't attack, overload or probe the site, scrape it in bulk, send spam through the bug form, or try to get around its limits.

No warranty, and our liability

The site and what's on it are provided "as is", for general information. We try to keep it accurate and working but can't promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss that comes from using the site or relying on it. Nothing here limits any right you have under South African consumer law that can't be limited.

Other websites

The site links to other websites, and loads fonts and scripts from other services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site afterwards means you accept the new version.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
